I remember when I was growing up,....there was the Four Tops, The Temptations, The O'Jays, The Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, Minnie Rippleton,....shall I go on.

So,...help me. What do we have left that we can say that THAT IS TRUE MUSIC?????

You're right Lady. I'm glad Shirley Caesar is still around & singing folk happy. Looks to me like if folk wanna hear "true music" that still requires talent then gospel music is where it's at.

Well you are right all the good music as we know is gone.but we must remember.There are some musicians very few tha t keep the legacy alive like patti labelle.al green teddy p.so to say what we have left is realiy a question of who we forgot is still out there making the good music that we still can love rather it being old or new.so big ups to the legends who are still making there marks in the music world.RIP to those we lost
